Dr. Seema Marwaha is a general internal medicine physician at St. Michael’s Hospital and an Assistant Professor in the Department of Medicine at the University of Toronto. She completed her Master’s in Education at the Harvard Graduate School of Education with a specialization in technology and innovation. She also completed an earlier version of the Dalla Lana Fellowship in Global Journalism. As the Editor-in-Chief of Healthy Debate (healthydebate.ca), she runs a virtual newsroom that teaches communication, advocacy and media relations to academics and health professionals. It has grown from a niche website to a nationally recognized publication that gets 1,000,000 unique hits a month. Seema is also a journalist and medical correspondent.
