Sujitha Ratnasingham is the Director of Strategic Partnerships at ICES, where she is responsible for cultivating partnerships and supporting communities in accessing data held at ICES. In this capacity, she collaborates with First Nations, Métis, and Inuit leadership, as well as policy makers at various levels of government.

Sujitha is an epidemiologist and has served as a guest lecturer at the University of Toronto. Before joining ICES, she held positions at Public Health Ontario, Toronto Public Health, and the World Health Organization. She holds a Master’s degree in Epidemiology from the University of Toronto.

Sujitha is part of a settler family originally from Sri Lanka. She currently resides in Toronto, a region that is the traditional territory of many nations, including the Mississaugas of the Credit, the Anishinaabe, the Chippewa, the Haudenosaunee, and the Wendat Peoples, and is now home to a diverse community of First Nations, Inuit, and Métis Peoples.
